LifeQuest, the Community Health Education Department of St. Joseph Hospital, offers a wide range of wellness education classes. Topics include nutrition, fitness, diabetes prevention and behavior change.
  · 50% off the Community Class fee for HMN Members. Attend a scheduled class and receive half off the listed price.

  · Classes can be held at your church location. Gather 10 individuals and LifeQuest facilitators will come to you. If individuals are paying, the fee is $6/person; if the church is paying, the total cost is $65. These fees are for a one-hour Wellness Presentation. Phone (360) 738-6720 for further information.

LifeQuest Health Screening        Go the the LifeQuest home page.
Health Screenings would be held at your church location. The LifeQuest team will provide a screening that assesses resting blood pressure, Body Mass Index (BMI) and blood glucose. A minimum of 20 participants is needed. The fee is $10/person. Call (360) 788-6720 for more information.
LifeQuest Cholesterol Screening  Go the the LifeQuest home page.
Offered once a month, during the morning of the second Saturday. Full Lipid Profile results include total cholesterol, HDL, LDL and triglyceride levels and cholesterol/HDL ratio. The cost for the full lipid profile is $25.00, $10.00 for a glucose screening, or $32.50 for both. A 12-hour fast is required. Screening is held at the main campus of the hospital. Health & Wellness Library
The Health and Wellness Library contains more than 75 books, CD-ROMs and DVDs focusing on Community Faith Nursing. Topics include the art and practice of healing, nursing standards, affective communication, guidance for caregivers, aging, elder care, grieving, depression, heart disease, and nutrition.

Active Adult Program
  Free registration (a $110 value)
The Active Adult Program is offered by Adult Day Health Services of St. Joseph Hospital. It is designed for adults who have memory loss or who need positive social interaction and is available Monday through Friday from 10am to 2pm.
